MYLAN PHARMACEUTICAL  

Overview

In 2018, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, in Connemara, Co Galway underwent an extensive refurbishment programme to its facility. Timlin Construction was contracted to carry out the initial demolition works, which involved; the excavations of existing drainage runs, saw cutting floor slabs for the place of new process line, in addition to fitting new process lines. This work was all carried out in its entirety utilising exclusively electric plant and machinery, in keeping with the explicit wishes of the client. Furthermore, Timlin Construction managed the soft strip out of the entire building and  removal of all heavy plant from site.

MOCC DUBLIN PORT

Overview

Timlin Construction Ltd were delighted to be the chosen team to undertake the extensive upgrading of the motorway operations Control Centre at Dublin Port. This venture commenced in early 2019, and Timlin Construction was solely responsible for the removal of the entire reception area, which involved the removal of high level ceilings and bulk heads, removal of glazed façade alongside the removal of block walls within an office environment and the removal of all floor finishes .

EMERGANCY WORKS 

Overview

In Feb 2018, following severe damage from snow, Power City in Tallaght, Dublin had its emergency works carried out by Timlin Construction ltd. Our team was able to swiftly provide services to aid getting the store open again for distribution. AMGEN PHARMACEUTICAL 

Overview

In early 2017, AMGEN Pharmaceutical undertook a major refurbishment of their operations in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin. Timlin Construction Ltd has been involved on this project at each phase of the demolition works. Our role involved; concrete facade removals, soft strip to internal, working around live services areas Plant removal from courtyards and roof.

CLONSAUGH HOTEL

Overview

Commencing in February 2019, Timlin Construction Ltd undertook the demolition of sixty newton columns of concrete at high level, to facilitate the CONSTRUCTION  of The Clonhshaugh Hotel in County Dublin. Our team of highly skilled operatives, led by our site foreman, undertook this phase of works utilising a platform scissor lift. Whilst this work was intricate and complex, it at all times was carried out within the constraints of rigorous health and safety standards on site, and ensured the proceeding works could commence on time.

SWISS COTTAGE

Overview

Timlin Construction was involved in the inceptive period of the restoration of the Swiss Cottage bar and lounge in Santry, County Dublin in June 2019. Our role, in the remodelling of this prominent landmark building involved the Soft strip back to grey box of the entire building, the removal of all roof structures, the demolition of all walls, and the demolition and grubbing up of all foundations.

MIESIAN PLAZA  

Overview

The Miesian Plaza in Dublin underwent major rejuvenation in 2017. Timlin Construction was responsible for the demolition of internal concrete walls, removal of screed, demolition of plaster to walls and ceilings, removal of M+E Strip out, underpinning and temporary propping. Our team worked in co-ordination with many other specialist contractors to bring this impressive corporate office block, comprising of four and five story buildings in the heart of Dublin 2 to completion.

NATIONAL REHAB HOSPITAL   

The National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire underwent renovations in 2018. Timlin Construction was the company commissioned to undertake, the stabilisation of adjacent buildings to the sports hall, and the demolition of the entire sports hall, in a safe and timely manner.

HADDINGTON ROAD   

Overview

The Haddington Road office Complex in Dublin underwent extensive redevelopment in mid-2017. Timlin Construction were tasked with; forming structural openings, breaking our floor screed to entire floor area, forming new lift shaft openings and structural openings through concrete walls amongst other tasks. This major, large scale project was undertaken in the financial district of the city, and under specific noise constraints, and was completed within these strict guidelines.

DEAN STREET  

Overview

Timlin Construction Ltd initiated its work on the Dean Hotel in Dublin in 2018, at the commencement of its complex redevelopment.Timlin Construction Ltd were solely responsible for the demolition of boundary walls which we supported with temporary propping, while the works were being carried out. Our exceptionally skilled operatives were also involved in the extremely intricate archaeological dig at basement level.

ORACLE  

Overview

The “Oracle” blocks, sitting in North Dublin’s prominent Eastpoint Business Park, underwent substantial redevelopment in mid-2017. Timlin Construction was tasked with stripping out the entire, extensive floor plate, a mammoth 4000m2. This venture included removing all stud partitions ceilings, floor finishes, and computer floors. In addition, the entire façade of the building was removed, and brought back to its original concrete structure.

T2 – DUBLIN AIRPORT

Overview

The redevelopment and construction of Terminal Two at Dublin Airport commenced in 2007. Timlin Construction were tasked with soft strip of the entire internal structure of the existing building, both mechanical and electrical strip out. We also undertook floor strip outs, ceiling removals, demolition of concrete, blockwork and stud partition walls. These works then made way for the state of the art terminal at Dublin Airport.

Overview

The project consisted of a complete four story strip out. Our work included facade retention, basement dig out, temporary works, underpinning and forming structural openings .We were responsible for the delivery of new construction material , as well as the disposal of all waste material off site in line with environmental policy.

ORWELL RD. NURSING HOME

Overview

The project consisted of the complete restoration of the existing nursing home and retro fitting of recently built development. Our work included underpinning, concrete slab removal, forming openings, internal drainage works, temporary works and concrete works. We were responsible for the delivery of enabling works and retro fitting of existing buildings within a stringent programme to facilitate the new construction works., as well as the disposal of all waste material off site in line with environmental policy.
